M Constantine Zavos-Costales is an artist, writer and publisher with background in classical piano, visual art and design, poetry, performance, fashion, herbalism and medical aesthetics. Primarily inspired by spirituality, technology, pop culture and the erotic, the artist uses her work to create ecosystems where she explores themes of connection, beauty and violence that frame her worldview. Approaching reality as a malleable product of her beliefs and the beliefs of others who inhabit it, life becomes a series of endless possibility and creation. These limitless realities become the tools the artist uses to understand, situate herself within and feel hopeful for the "irl". This approach is mirrored in her work, interdisciplinary in nature, freeing the artist from the constraints of any singular medium. Her education includes study at Pratt Institute, Center for World Indigenous Studies and National Laser Institute. Her work has been exhibited and performed in Chicago, New York, Los Angeles, Phoenix and Tucson.
